CONTEMPORARY ART IN A TRADITIONAL MEDIUM

Children’s

My inspiration for my children’s rugs have come from a favourite picture book, Mr. Gumpy’s Outing by John Burningham. It’s a cautionary tale where animals and children misbehave, are chastised, and finally forgiven. I give a hooked rug along with the book to new mothers.

I would be interested in working on a rug using your favourite children’s book for a lucky baby. My rug would be an interpretation of an illustration and not an exact copy.
